I would like to know how the sun that follows. Visit to the lab. The Cu + ZnSO4 seems small metal parts in the clear water, but you do not know what will happen if I add HCl. Are there bubbles?

Thank you!

Cu metal does not react more ZnSO4 solution, and all you see is copper pieces sitting in a clear solution. Cu is less active than Zn, so that it can not replace Zn in a compound.

If you add HCl acid, the same tube, again nothing happens, that copper is not the place of the H2 gas from an acid.
